1AmTheHelp3r Visit - October 23, 2012

On October 23th, 2012 1AmTheHelper entered the CaughtNotSleeping chat room to provide a warning regarding further wards against the Mirror, who seems to be gaining strength against them. He is, however, caught off guard by the Mirror's own power over him, and is unable to witness any video or content that features the Mirror.

1AmTheHelp3r:	Today I will speak with the infected "Laparus". If you wish to say something, direct it to him.
Laparus:	He Help3r, I actually apologize for sounding like a jerk earlier.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Earlier?
Laparus:	If you don't know what it is, someone was pretending to be you.
1AmTheHelp3r:	No, this matter is far more grave. You have done well, to an extent.
Laparus:	Me, or all of us? Thank you either way.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Irrelevant. Rule#41 - Those who depend fully on the work of others for salvation, are but cattle for his slaughter. You have proven to be willing to try, for this, I will help you now.
Laparus:	Can you explain how you intend to help us, if you can?
1AmTheHelp3r:	It is my understanding a newcomer "[Redacted: Crino's name] has emulated your attempt to ward of this new infection.
Laparus:	Yes.
1AmTheHelp3r:	It is true this new infection has begun to emulate the processes of your own?
Laparus:	It appears so, in a way.
1AmTheHelp3r:	It does not.
Laparus:	Are you aware of what the "I see you, you see me" arrangement does?
1AmTheHelp3r:	It seems similar in some ways.
Laparus:	Do you know in what ways it is different?
1AmTheHelp3r:	It is hard to say, I have not had ample time to study it.
Laparus:	That's fair enough. If we find any more about it, we'll let you know.
1AmTheHelp3r:	It seems, less forgiving.
Laparus:	Yes. Would you agree with us that it seems much more dangerous?
1AmTheHelp3r:	No.
Laparus:	Which of the two would you say is more dangerous?
1AmTheHelp3r:	The infection is always dangerous. Scale is irrelevant. I will require some information from you, before I help.
Laparus:	What information do you require?
1AmTheHelp3r:	Explain the nature of this infection's "face". This connection is new to me. I do not understand it.
Laparus:	Do you mean the fact that it uses the face of Thyodamas?
1AmTheHelp3r:	Yes.
Laparus:	It put Thyodamas in a position, her light or the light of Loxura. She chose to surrender her own light, or else it would forcibly take that of Loxura. The infection says this gives it "light" somehow.
1AmTheHelp3r:	It used this word? "Life"?
Laparus:	It said we have given it life. It also said its connection with Thyodamas is one it has never had before.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Continue.
Laparus:	It has adopted Thyodamas' name, calling itself Samadoyht. It calls her "Sister", usually "sweet sister". We're not certain but we believe it may be in mockery of Roivas calling us her family. When Thyodamas gave her light to this infection—It sees her face always, it uses her eyes to see, possibly all of our eyes.
1AmTheHelp3r:	In what ways has this infection contacted you?
Laparus:	It's contacted us here. It has emailed myself, it has emailed Apollo, it has emailed Glaucopsyche. It has given packages to Little Butterfly.

Laparus:	The infection said it was keeping us from contacting people. It also said it was keeping them from contacting us. I think it's entirely possible that it's doing something similar to you right now.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Yes, the infection has done this in the past, it CAN NOT hide from me. Not even YOUR infection can hide itself from me.
Laparus:	We think this is an older, more powerful infection. We're willing to stand beside you to help you take it out, if you're willing to trust us to do that.

Laparus:	Some woulds ya, the one who wants to remove the infection should not be trusted by the infected.
1AmTheHelp3r:	You do not know, what I know…The infected cannot be trusted…
Laparus:	You have a rule for getting around the rules.

1AmTheHelp3r:	Tell me about these "blocks".
Laparus:	The deal was that Samadoyht could speak to Thyodamas on her own, and they would remove the block for "two moons". when the block was lifted, we received about a month's worth of tweets from Natalie, and she recently contacted us. We've had contact with Roivas as well, but on a minimal basis.
1AmTheHelp3r:	This should not be able to affect me…this…is not good…
Laparus:	We very much agree that this is not good. The infection has appeared and it told us that you have been frequenting the chat under the name "justcause". We're not accusing you of anything, we're just wondering if you can confirm that or not.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Yes.
Laparus:	There was another incident we'd like to ask you about. Little Butterfly received a key from Roivas. When she said she wanted to try using it in a lock, a guest in here changed their name to "doitanddiefool". Would you know anything about that?
1AmTheHelp3r:	No. What else did this "Mirrors" tell you?
Laparus:	It's told us a lot of things. One of the most interesting things it's told us, is that there are at least three of us talking to you without the knowledge of the rest of us. It also said that its goal is unity.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Move on. Unity, in what form?
Laparus:	Unity of belief.
1AmTheHelp3r:	this infection is more clever than your own.
Laparus:	It certainly seems more cautious, I agree with that. It's more careful and plans things better. But we have managed to hurt it, using a weapon that Roivas provided.
1AmTheHelp3r:	How?
Laparus:	Roivas sent me a jar, full of a reddish-brown liquid. I put some of the liquid onto a mirror, and that hurt it.
1AmTheHelp3r:	What is the liquid?
Laparus:	Apparently, it is "that which once was", not that I know what that means.
1AmTheHelp3r:	That makes sense. How do you know you hurt it?
Laparus:	In the video we received, it showed the image of me placing the liquid in the mirror, and snarled "you hurt us".
1AmTheHelp3r:	So you know you hurt it, because it told you so?
Laparus:	It did also respond rather desperately. It does not seem as eager to make a deal with us as it used to be.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Deals?
Laparus:	It has attempted deals with us before. It wanted 6 of us to perform a ritual (I see you, you see me). Only 2 did, of our group anyway.
1AmTheHelp3r:	In the future, do not say that out loud. At all.
Laparus:	It also wanted those of us who warded against it to remove the ward in order to take Papilio out of danger. It later said Papilio wasn't in danger.
1AmTheHelp3r:	This jar, was it "that which once was" or "that which once lived"?
Laparus:	We once asked Roivas if it was something that once lived and they seemed rather shocked by the idea.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Interested.
Laparus:	I've been corrected. It's something that once lived.
1AmTheHelp3r:	Then if your infection did not lie to you, then likely you did hurt it.
Laparus:	We have a plan for hurting it further if need be. But we want to keep that in reserve, rather than waste it.
1AmTheHelp3r:	You must use this sparingly…
Laparus:	That's what we thought.
1AmTheHelp3r:	The nature of the infection is to grow, more so, to learn. To adapt.
Laparus:	It will absorb our weaponry and grow resistant.
1AmTheHelp3r:	No. It will learn to fashion a similar tactic.
Laparus:	Do you think there's any way to dispose of this new infection entirely?
1AmTheHelp3r:	If it is truly hiding itself from me, I do not know. The infection should NOT be able to do this.
Laparus:	Do you think from our rituals it may have learned a way of warding itself from you?
1AmTheHelp3r:	Explain?
Laparus:	It has claimed to learn to use Roivas's code, from our attempts to contact Roivas in code. However, it has also admitted to posting an old video on Roivas's account, that was in code. It also posted a video in reverse, I turned it back around, and it claimed to learn to speak forwards from it.
1AmTheHelp3r:	This makes sense. This is why I am here now. Recently, a newcomer has attempted this ward. "Crino". This may have worked before, as this infection has gained more of you, and others, it will no longer work.
Laparus:	So it did work once, but it's not working anymore.
1AmTheHelp3r:	To the contrary, it will see you through the mirror regardless of what you do in front of it.
Laparus:	Are you saying it worked for Scott and Melaney, but it won't work for us?
1AmTheHelp3r:	From this point on, it will not. I fear attempting such, at this point will be the equivalent of doing what it said to do.
Laparus:	Speaking of Scott and Melaney, Mirrors was also messing with them?
1AmTheHelp3r:	Go on.
Laparus:	We got the idea for our ward from them, the fact that it was written on their mirror.
1AmTheHelp3r:	I doubt it, if it had, it would not just now be gaining strength.
Laparus:	Do you believe removing the mirrors from our homes, or breaking them, would be of any help?
1AmTheHelp3r:	It is not the object that poses a threat, it is the acceptance that there is something behind it.
Laparus:	DO you have any suggestions of your own that could help?
1AmTheHelp3r:	Do not attempt to block it anymore by its means. That will do only harm.
Laparus:	There was a picture of Papilio in the form of a jigsaw puzzle. There was a from or a figure glowing light behind her. do you know what that was?
